Some words from Angela Jane:
“I’m a Dunedin portrait & commercial photographer and I’ve been shooting for over 20 years.
Dunedin commercial and portrait photographer
As a commercial photographer in Dunedin, I can bring new facets of your business to the forefront in a way that people haven’t noticed before. A simple photograph from Angela Jane Photography can deliver a powerful message to your customers. My goal as a Dunedin photographer is to help you achieve that in a creative, engaging and professional manner. I have a passion for creating one of a kind photographs. This is evident in the varied clientele I work with. In fact, I pride myself on my high percentage of repeat customers because that means I’m doing something right.
Whether it’s shooting a corporate headshot or editorial campaign, I love to bring fascinating and captivating images to life.
If you’re a Dunedin business, a retailer, a showroom, an agency or a designer, you will find immense value in my service offerings. If you would like to chat about how I can assist you with your business, contact me for an informal consultation.
Family Photo Sessions
Are you a family in Dunedin or wider Otago and are looking to have your family photos taken? I am a huge proponent of family photos. I encourage everybody to have their family portraits taken annually.
You are valuable and you should be remembered. Your loved ones deserve to have a visual record of your face. In our modern world of endless selfies and crappy cell phone pics, I’m determined to leave a halfway decent visual legacy of my existence. Let me document the goofy grin your 7 year old has when you tell him you love him. Allow me to freeze that moment in time when your teenager gives you a spontaneous hug. Let me preserve your family for future generations to appreciate. Sue Bryce (a master photographer and a great teacher of photography) has created a huge following in the photographic world around the hashtag #existinphotos. Essentially she advocates for all members of the family to be seen in their family photos. Yes, that means you ladies!
My theory on approaching family photo sessions
I am a Dunedin commercial and portrait photographer that is uncomplicated in her approach. This means that I capture candid moments as they unfold with a little bit of direction. My approach and contact put my clients at ease and they end up enjoying the session more than they anticipated. Being photographed doesn’t have to be a chore: you can play, giggle, take a walk, bake a cake… Think of it as quality time with your family, enjoy the moment and let me do the work.”
